Interactive Maps and Data
The inventory and analysis of parks and open space in Los Angeles County generated many maps and new data points. These maps and data are available to the public in three formats: an interactive website, a data layer viewer, and as downloads for use with GIS software.
Interactive Maps Website
On this website, users can explore selected maps generated during the Parks Needs Assessment. The site allows users to zoom in to any area of the County in order to look at information in more depth. No special software is needed to use this website.
Layer Viewer
This website encourages users to visually overlay different maps produced as part of the Parks Needs Assessment. Over 20 maps layers are available for overlaying, allowing users to compare different layers of information throughout the County. No special software is needed to use this website.
Enterprise GIS Data Portal
The County’s data portal hosts all data generated during the Parks Needs Assessment.
