Steering Committee
The members of the Steering Committee provide a diversity of viewpoints that are broadly representative of and reflect the diversity of the community to the greatest extent possible. Members of the Steering Committee include: representatives from each supervisorial district office; representatives from community-based organizations working on park and recreation issues; community-at-large representatives; representatives from each Council of Government, including Los Angles, Lancaster and Palmdale; representatives from the following County Departments: Parks and Recreation, Public Health, Chief Executive Office, and Community & Senior Services; a representative from the Regional Parks and Open Space District; a representative from First Five LA; and a representative from the Youth Conservation Corps.
